There is an unrestrained joy that comes with taking your first steps forward. That’s what Jason experienced on my most recent visit to the Shepherd’s Field Children’s Village, a mission that provides for special-needs orphans by raising support for corrective surgeries and then, ultimately, finding “forever families” for the kids. The Coleman Charitable foundation delivers walkers, crutches, and specially designed pediatric wheelchairs for children like Jason.

As he courageously tested his new walking aids, moving ahead one step at a time, his ear-to-ear smile said it all. He was ecstatic in that moment. And he hasn’t stopped moving forward since.

In much the same way, our foundation is taking first steps. And, like Jason, we could not be happier about it. Our mission is to help people build great lives and bright futures by assisting in the development of communities. And with each step forward, we aim to enable and empower people towards their best life possible. There’s no greater joy than making a tangible difference in communities by helping to provide for unmet needs. Whether assisting through emergency relief, rehabilitation, or education and prevention, we are dedicated to raising the quality of life for communities in the Southwest United States located near our 5 resorts throughout Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona. We are also invested internationally through our U.S. based partner organizations serving the Dominican Republic, Rwanda, and China.
